1- Immaturity of the digestive system, as infants may suffer from a delay in the maturation of some parts of the digestive system, which may cause digestive problems such as colic.
2- Food allergies: The infant may be sensitive to some of the nutrients found in formula milk, and this leads to digestion problems and may cause infant colic.
3- Constipation: Constipation can cause colic in infants, especially if the baby is not drinking enough milk, or if he is drinking the wrong formula.
4- Gases: Gases can cause bowel movements and expose infants to colic.
